Good driving skills don’t always make you a driver, according to a truck driver who was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 5 in West Virginia.
According to WDRB-TV, a westbound pickup truck driver was driving on the highway when a vehicle driven by a pickup trucker pulled out onto the shoulder of the road.
The driver of the truck, Jason Hensley, said he saw the pickup truck approaching from behind.
He said that the pickup driver accelerated to a high rate of speed before striking the trucker.
The trucker died at the scene.
A man and a woman were in the truck at the time of the crash, WDRL-TV reports.
The truck driver’s name has not been released.
