The latest version driver for your Ubuntu computer will be updated automatically as soon as you install Ubuntu 12.04, but you can also manually update it manually.
To do this, head to the Ubuntu Software Center, open the Update Manager application, and select the Software and Updates tab.
Click on the “Update Driver” button.
This will bring up a list of the most recent drivers available for your computer.
The first driver you see will be the one for the latest Ubuntu 12:04 release.
Click the Update Driver button again to confirm your choice.
The next driver you click on will update the software version for your PC.
This process will take a few minutes.
Once all the drivers have been updated, restart your computer to complete the installation.
You can find out more about updating driver software with the latest drivers at Ubuntu’s website.
To uninstall the driver for the first time, click on the uninstall button on the driver’s download page.
The driver for that driver will be removed from the Ubuntu software repositories once the update has completed.
The Ubuntu Software Centre has also included a manual uninstaller tool, which you can use to remove a driver from the repositories.
